Welcome

Happy New Year! I have neglected the site over the past few months, but it's been one heck of a summer!

I graduated from BU in May 2004 with my degree in Instructional Technology. A week later I was in a U-Haul on my way to my new home in New Jersey. I started my new job 2 days after my move.

So far I am loving it! I love the projects, I love the people and sadly... I love my green cubicle.

My next extracurricular project is going to be developing a site for a business. I have a lot to learn!!! Check back here on my progress.

Click here for the Journal Archives.

Where in the world is Rachel?

If you know me, you know I am always up to something. I have been meaning to re-design my personal page since March, but here we are in December...

So, the new site will have to wait. I will talk a little bit about what I have been up to this summer and fall. I've thrown in some links - please feel free to click around.

In May, I went with one of my favorite people to Spain. We met up with some friends in Barcelona. I had a great time - and had great company!

In June, I started a new, fantastic job. I am doing exactly what I want to do and have a great team to work with. I do miss my former co-workers. They are still a family to me and I appreciate all of the support and love they have given and still give.

While I was getting a feel for my new job, I started (and have since slacked off on) an eLearning Resources Blog.

In August, Nick and I signed ourselves up for the MS Society's annual City to Shore Bike Tour. 150 miles! I kept a journal of the experience, with a lot of embarrasing pictures of me in spandex. Enjoy!

After the ride, I began another fundraising project. This time jewelry and other crafts which I am selling to raise money for my Relay for Life team. I call it "Jewelry for a Cause..."

After Thanksgiving I brought home a new cat. She is 5 pounds of pure sweetness. Jack is in love. Her name? Jillian.

So, now you are all caught up! Let's not wait another 9 months before the next entry, ok?
